Lockdown Campout

We were going to camp at Easter, but it's 2020 and the world's on the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic.

So like lots of other people privileged enough to have a garden, we camped out at home.
It's much easier to decorate the entrance with flowers in pots when you don't need to fit them in the car!
And the grass was muddy, so Clare made a walkway with old pallet boards. That worked really well so I think I'll make some sort of roll-up duck board for when we can eventually camp away from home.
Bunting, fairy lights, rugs, duvets, blankets - we made that tent our home for the Easter Holidays.
Add a few lanterns, "sheepskin" rugs  and fake plants from IKEA, eBay and AliExpress, the whole setup was really homely.
We're still using camp beds, but the 5m tent gives plenty of space for the five of us.

I do love the glamping setups with a pure white linen duvet and tasteful restrained decorations, but this lively, organic, multi-textured mishmash is a more realistic representation of our family and I wouldn't want that any other way.
