cosy in the dark

As the sun began to set we lit a few lanterns, strung up the battery powered Christmas lights (It's only January and I've been too busy cleaning the tent to put them away) and abandoned the house to enjoy the evening in our new "room" in the garden

Reading, resting and making 'music' on the guitar and cajon we had a really good evening as a family.
The girls are already planning sleepovers, there's talk of getting a wood burning stove to allow winter camping and maybe even using the SoulPad for our main summer holiday this year.
Chatting generated some good ideas about what will work and what won't.
The tent itself is only the first part of my glamping plan.  I've still got plenty to think about and loads to do.
